| SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP |
| |
|
Our Sunday A.M. worship services are fashioned after the worship acts
recorded in the New Testament. We have 1) the Lord's Supper (breaking
of bread), 2) prayer, 3) acapella singing, 4) teaching/preaching, and
5) contribution.

| SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIP
ROTATION |
| |
|
Our Sunday evening worship schedule affords a variety
of ways for our congregation to worship God, and enhance fellowship.
The designated Sunday evenings of these activities are flexible
and change, depending on special events, such as visiting speakers,
gospel meetings, mission trips, etc.
|
| First Sunday |
For the purpose of enhancing fellowship, on
a voluntary basis, our members join one of eight Care groups
which meets in a respective group member's home for Sunday
evening worship service. The service is conducted as a regular
worship service, with singing, praying, communion, offering,
and a lesson. In addition to the care groups, a regular
worship service is conducted at our building.
|
| Second Sunday |
A regular auditorium class
is taught by our preacher, Richard Blaisdell.
|
| Third Sunday |
We worship and praise God through a song service.
Prayer, communion, offering, and invitation are observed.
|
| Fourth Sunday |
A regular auditorium class is taught by our
preacher, Richard Blaisdell.
|
| Fifth Sunday |
The young men in our congregation conduct
the regular worship service.

MEN'S MONDAY BIBLE STUDY/ PRAYER BREAKFAST |
| |
|
This informal men's Bible and prayer class meets from
6:30 - 7:30 a.m. It is a free forum topical discussion class, and currently
is based around a series of video lessons from the Sunset International
Bible Institute. Usually, 6-10 participants attend and share God's word,
prayer, fellowship and coffee. Men of all ages are invited to attend.
|
| MONDAY NIGHT FOR THE MASTER |
| |
|
A major congregational evangelistic program designed for
all members. This evangelistic and edificational outreach ministry is
aimed at many in the community (non-members) and also those in the congregation
(members). The evening begins at our building with a provided hot meal
at 6:00 p.m. for all workers (and their children). The "work" begins
around 6:40 p.m. after a brief inspirational devotional and instruction
period. Three major work groups function each Monday night. Teams go
out that night and make several visits each to visitors to our services,
prospects, new members, newcomers to town, delinquent members, shut-ins,
teens, elderly, bereaved, etc. Other teams work at the building writing
encouragement cards to many different people (members and non-members).
Other teams work at the building making telephone calls to many different
ones (members and non-members). Other areas of work include: grading
and correcting Bible Correspondence courses; sending messages to our
supported missionaries & their families; prayer groups; clerical duties;
coordination of teams; baking cookies; meal preparation; and other ministries.
|
| TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY |
| |
|
This is a informal discussion class for adults that meets
each Tuesday night in a class member's home. Between 10-16 people participate
each week. The study is always a textual study from the Old or New Testaments.
When possible, the lessons are enhanced with videos.

A 7:15 p.m. Wednesday night class based on
John Clayton's thought that the original support group was
the church. This ladies' support class began about seven
years ago. It is not a Bible class per se, although scripture
is read and the class starts with the Serenity Prayer and
ends with the Lord's Prayer. Two nights a month, class members
discuss topics such as love, fear, stress, etc. One Wednesday
night is a Gratitude Night, where thankfulness is shared.
One Wednesday is Birthday Affirmations, where class members
who have celebrated a birthday during a given month receive
positive affirmations from other class members regarding
the celebrant's strengths, what has been learned from them,
their good points, etc. The participants also share activities
that are going on in their lives.
