Three families from Iglesia de Cristo in Highland Oaks are now at Buckingham Road planting a new church, including bivocational church planter Hector Alvarado. This church, launched in May of 2011, has a growing nucleus of 40 people!

An active Latino congregation is a vital part of Buckingham Road’s ministry. The Latino church meets for worship each Sunday at 10 am and for Bible study each Wednesday at 7 pm. The meeting place is the west side of the Buckingham Road building. Worship and Bible study are conducted in Spanish, although many of the church members speak English. The Latino church is actively reaching out to Hispanics in surrounding neighborhoods.
