Kevin is originally from Blackwell, Oklahoma where he was baptized at age 11. He married his high school sweetheart, Shauna Lenaburg in 1985 and they both graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987. Following graduation, they settled in Garland where Kevin began his engineering career at Texas Instruments and Shauna initiated her lifelong passion of engaging older adults. 

They placed membership at Buckingham Road in autumn of 1987 and have enjoyed many service opportunities over the past 35 years. God blessed them with two wonderful children and spouses: Shelby McEntire and husband Daniel of Murphy, Texas as well as Colton Sweetser and wife Shannon of Salado, Texas. One granddaughter – Alexys McEntire keeps life both fun and interesting. 

Kevin and Shauna enjoy exploring the beauty of God's creation through travel, where Kevin continues to polish his photography skills. Kevin also enjoys music, baking, and an occasional round of bad golf with good friends.
